Looking for a talented Chef who can lead a small team, and can produce high quality and delicious dishes for a breakfast buffet, while maintaining a set budget
Shift starts from 5 am - 1 pm noon. Short working hours
Requirements
Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
Able to work in a small team, and maintain a high standard of quality for food as well as hygiene
Must be able to converse fluently in English as well as Bahasa Melayu
Good attitude and responsible character.
Independent with persuasive interpersonal skills and results-driven
Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the kitchen\xe2\x80\x99s daily operation
Ensures cost control procedures are adhered to at all times
Ensure high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and safety are maintained in kitchen at all times
Monitoring and controlling stock levels and minimize food waste and theft
Develop standard recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation which help to assure food consistently in high quality
Checking freshness of food, coordinating activities of kitchen staff determining the best presentation of food, ensuring quality of each meal, inspecting kitchen equipment for cleanliness and monitoring sanitation policies
