Assisting the head chef in the day-to-day operation
Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the manager to meet the standard and the quality set
Follows the instructions and recommendations of immediate superiors to complete daily tasks.
Coordinates daily tasks with the Chef
Able to estimate the daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production, and presentation standards
Personally responsible for hygiene, safety, and the correct use of equipment and utensils
Supervise daily kitchen activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Conduct regular checks on food storage, temperature control, and waste management.
Ensure all equipment is clean, maintained, and in good working condition.
Assist in monitoring and controlling food cost, wastage, and portioning.
Report shortages, spoilage, or damaged goods to the Head Chef promptly.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in catering and services will be added advantage
Knowledge and experience in various types of cuisine
