Responsibilities:

• Assist to validate SOX control requirements with relevant stakeholders
• Maintain the SOX control framework requirements (Process Narratives, Risk Control Matrix, and flow charts) and ensure changes are captured and documented appropriately
• Perform controls review (both control design and control effectiveness) and testing to assess whether local operations are compliant with SOX Control framework
• Work with stakeholders to recommend remediation plans and perform validation on remediation actions for deficiencies identified and follow through issues remediation / resolution based on the testing conducted
• Participate in continuous improvement projects involving new process and systems (including implementation of control self-assessment tool)
• Support in providing periodic status reporting of the projects to relevant stakeholders
• Support in the preparation of internal / external reports as necessary
• Other ad-hoc duties as requested

• Bachelor\'s degree in accountancy, finance or equivalent with professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIA)
• Minimum 4 years of audit and risk advisory experience, preferably with any Big 4 audit firm or US listed companies (Exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley \xe2\x80\x9cSOX\xe2\x80\x9d would be a significant advantage)
• Knowledgeable with current industry standards such as COSO
• Excellent command of English and proficiency in Malay [a plus]
• Experience with analyzing and identifying the strengths and weaknesses of options and exercise critical thinking, problem solving, and judgment skills
• Detail oriented
• Proactive and able to work independently and with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of quality work product and output
