Key Responsibilities:
The Spa Manager manages daily spa operations, supervises therapists, oversees cleanliness and hygiene standards, handles client bookings via WhatsApp, phone and social media, and ensures all treatment rooms are ready according to spa SOP. Responsibilities include scheduling therapist shifts, monitoring staff performance, resolving customer feedback or complaints, tracking daily sales, performing cash reconciliation, managing inventory of oils, herbs, towels and flowers, and handling supplier purchasing. The manager provides warm customer service, conducts treatment consultations, recommends suitable services, and ensures every client receives a calm and premium spa experience. The manager must be able to perform treatments such as Traditional Malay Full Body Massage, Head Neck and Shoulder Massage, Back Massage, Foot Reflexology, Hand and Arm Massage, Scalp Massage and Aromatherapy Massage, as well as wellness rituals including Mandi Bunga 7 Seri, Mandi Herba, Relaxation Rituals, Emotional Wellness and Sleep Therapy. The Spa Manager is responsible for maintaining spa safety, privacy compliance for Muslimah-only environment, and ensuring all SOP are followed consistently and professionally.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Spa Therapy, Wellness, Beauty, Hospitality or Business
Minimum 1-2 years experience in spa, beauty or wellness industry
Able to perform massage and spa treatments confidently
Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills
Professional appearance, good attitude and trustworthy
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English
Able to work weekends and public holidays
Muslimah only (women-only spa environment)
Preferred Certifications:
SKM Level 2/3 Spa Therapy or Urutan Melayu
CIBTAC, CIDESCO, ITEC certifications
Sijil Urutan, Refleksologi atau Aromaterapi
Customer service or hospitality certification
