The primary role of IT Application Platform Administration function is to analyze, design, develops and administer the SAAS/Cloud/IT applications/databases effectively with continuous improvement mindsets.


Platform refers to the applications, databases and services running in a server.


Maintaining the application platform and databases based on business requirements across all business functionalities.





Key deliverables include manage platform compliance, deployments, test, debug complex applications, patching and provide post-production support within the agreed time, quality, performance and budget constraints. Working closely with key stakeholders, other DBAs and business consultants to define


document technical specifications and schedule.

The primary objective of IT Applications Platform Administration specialization within IT Applications Job Family is to create and maintain the application platform be it in cloud or on-premesis. Tasks related to database, user access & application privileges , support of the roll-out of new solutions, as well as for application cloning, patching, migration, upgrade etc

Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining security controls; monitoring policies, procedures and standards relating to database and application management; and proposing and implementing enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.

Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts.

Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 2 years of related experience Ms SQL and MySQL database management experience Application administration experience Exposure to Cloud technologies ( AWS and Oracle ) Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
