About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled

Specialist Exadata Administrator

to manage, maintain, and enhance our Oracle Exadata environments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical expertise in Oracle Exadata, RAC, and performance tuning, with a proven ability to ensure system stability, scalability, and optimal performance across critical business applications.

This role is hands-on and requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including application, infrastructure, and network support, to deliver robust database services across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle

Exadata systems

, including configuration, patching, upgrades, and health checks. Manage

Oracle RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure

, and database storage systems. Perform

database performance tuning

, capacity planning, and system optimization to achieve peak performance. Implement and manage

backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies

using RMAN and Data Guard. Troubleshoot and resolve Exadata hardware, network, and database-related issues in collaboration with Oracle Support and internal teams. Ensure compliance with security policies, data governance, and audit requirements. Automate routine maintenance tasks and develop proactive monitoring solutions. Support critical production systems with 24x7 on-call availability when required. Document technical procedures, architecture diagrams, and operational standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience

in Oracle Database Administration, with

2-3 years specializing in Exadata systems

. Strong proficiency in

Oracle RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Data Guard, and RMAN

. Hands-on experience in

Exadata patching, cell management, storage configuration, and performance optimization

. Working knowledge of

Linux administration

and

network troubleshooting

. Experience in

Cloud Exadata (OCI)

or hybrid environments is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Oracle certifications (OCP, OCM, or Exadata Certified Expert)

preferred.
