About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Exadata Administrator

to manage, optimize, and support our Oracle Exadata environments. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Exadata systems, Oracle RAC, and performance tuning, along with strong troubleshooting and automation skills. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of mission-critical databases that support our enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Oracle Exadata systems, including configuration, patching, upgrades, and performance optimization. Administer Oracle RAC databases, ASM storage, and Grid Infrastructure. Monitor database performance and implement proactive tuning and optimization strategies. Manage database backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery configurations using RMAN and Data Guard. Implement and maintain database security policies and compliance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve complex database and infrastructure issues. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and network teams to ensure seamless integration and uptime. Automate routine tasks and develop monitoring tools to improve efficiency and system reliability. Prepare technical documentation, capacity planning, and system health reports. Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical production systems when required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum

5-8 years

of experience in Oracle Database Administration, with at least

3 years

focused on

Exadata

systems. Strong knowledge of

Oracle RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Data Guard, and RMAN

. Hands-on experience in

Exadata patching, cell management, and performance troubleshooting

. Familiarity with

Linux administration

and

networking concepts

. Experience with

Cloud Exadata (OCI)

is a strong plus. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Oracle certifications (OCP / OCM / Exadata Certified Expert) preferred.
