Role Summary: Supervise and manage General Accounting team. Ensure the quality and accurate completion of General Accounting processes are delivered by General Accounting team within the agreed key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA). More than 8 years work experience.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage and ensure quality in terms of accurate, completeness and timeliness of the General Accounting team in performing their daily activities for the following General Accounting processes. 2. Book accounting transactions based on Business Groups inputs. 3. Maintain general ledger master data. 4. Maintain the setup and blocking of cost centers/account codes. 5. Clearing of open items in accounts. 6. Perform analytical review of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet, trend analysis, cost centre checks and transaction posting checks. 7. Provide month end close accounting process transaction support. 8. Execute month end close steps in accordance with work instructions and month end close checklist. 9. Co-ordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with Business Groups and other CSC F&A functional teams to ensure timely and accurate closure of accounts. 1. Review transactions processed and reports generated by Analyst. 11. To conduct training for analyst on need basis. 12. Manage the team to ensure that all transactions are processed within agreed timeline as defined in SLA. 13. Contribute to CSC Management Reporting requirement relating to SLA. 14. Manage and resolve issue raised by RGE Business Groups. 15. Managing and resolve issues, queries related to daily task and system. Raise issues, where necessary, to RGM Common Services Centre\xe2\x80\x99s management with resolution for improvement. 16. Managing ad-hoc requests from Function Lead and Business Groups. 17. Act as a counsel to staff as when needed. 18. Act as a mentor to staff and motivator to the team. 19. Coordinate and manage CSC communication channels and Helpdesk tickets related to AP. Service Management and Continuous Improvement: 1. Supervise the General Accounting team members to deliver services within agreed service levels and budgetary guidelines defined in the RGE CSC F&A Service Level Agreement. 2. Execute work in accordance with the service management framework by providing timely and accurate customer service. 3. Review backlog and cycle time reports, supervise team members to improve process flow times. 4. Recommend and develop solutions for continuous improvements opportunities. Ensure successful implementation across the team and in Business Groups. 5. Support new and existing team members through proper knowledge transfer; sharing of resource, knowledge and experience and best practice thereby ensuring quality is maintained through any staff transition. Resource Management: 1. Monitor resource utilization and manage resource allocation. 2. Identify changes to long term resource needs and implement appropriate actions (e.g. backup plan). 3. Develop and train the General Accounting team members. 4. Conduct team meetings report status and resolve issues. 5. Create a positive work environment that fosters team performance. 6. Cultivate customer service culture in team. 7. Organize and conduct regular meetings and communications with team members. 8. Coach team members to improve skills and knowledge required to perform his/her job effectively. 9. Conduct team members\xe2\x80\x99 performance evaluation and review. 1. Train new team members and share knowledge and job experience. 11. Set Performance Objectives with direct reports. 12. Counsel team members on performance improvement and career development. 13. Ensure balanced workload for team members.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 A degree in the related job field. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 3 to 5 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role. \xe2\x80\xa2 Willing to relocate to the job location.
