Job Description


Job Purpose

Responsible for continuous high quality customer service which include, but is not limited to, meeting internal and external customer needs and for presenting a positive attitude towards the members, its staff and its program.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working areas to ensure, high quality customer service, smooth operations and cleanliness (swimming pool, badminton/squash/tennis courts, bowling centre, gymnasium., Wii Room and theatrette).
  • Punctual for work, attire appropriately always and ensure all systems are running smoothly.
  • Ensure Sports & Recreation Facilities are open on time and closed with keys returned to Security.
  • Assisting the customer\'s needs i.e. booking, feedback/complaints, usage of equipments and safety matters.
  • Constantly alert at all times assisting the Supervisor/Superior in doing surveillance of working area. Recognize and respond quickly to emergencies and report immediately to Supervisor.
  • Monitor activities at Sports & Recreation Facilities and cautions customers on unsafe areas and behaviours.
Job Responsibilities (Con\'t)
  • Assist in carrying out Life Saving responsibilities when called upon i.e. stand in for Lifeguard at swimming pool as instructed by management.
  • Assist Supervisor/Superior in enforcing all Club facility policies, rules and regulations as stated in the Club By-Laws.
  • Report to management immediately all complaints, accidents, rescue, unsafe conditions of equipment and any violations of Club By-laws by any Member/Members Guest.
  • Maintain order at Sports & Recreation Facilities.
  • Conduct membership spot checks and Guest/Visotor charges, assist Members in bookings and ensure registration/booking are taken correctly and follow-up timely.
  • Assist Supervisor/Superior to monitor (and report) on Sports & Recreation Facilities conditions, situations and maintenance. Check all areas and report accordingly.
Job Responsibilities (Con\'t)
  • To Maintain accurate daily cash sales record and submit daily cash sales summary/credit card summary to Cashier of Finance Department.
  • Assist Supervisor/Superior in sales, patronage and activity participant reports.
  • Assist Supervisor/Superior in maintaining proper filing of all ocuments.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by Supervisor/management i.e. sports events responsibilities.
  • Maintain healthy lifestyle.

Education/Professional Qualification

Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / or 1 year relevant experience in Sports/Fitness/Recreational activities/operations.

  • BU/OU/Support Department operating parameters;
  • Laws, rules and regulations impacting BU/OU/Support Department area of operations;

  • The basic application of risk management in the BU/OU/Support Department area of operations;
