Duties And Responsibilities Implement the organisation\'s health and safety policy and procedures so that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and the organisation complies with all current and future regulations and laws. Conduct safety audits and on-site inspections to identify workplace hazards and unsafe equipment, working practices, or working conditions. Investigate accidents, complete or verify accident reports, and liaise with technical specialists and external health and safety authorities to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence. Recommend changes to working processes and conditions to ensure that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and that the organisation complies with all current and future regulations and laws, and the organisation\'s safety policies and standards. Maintain and analyse records of workplace injuries, illness, and absences to identify areas of concern. Educate and train the organisation\'s workforce on health and safety to ensure that they understand and comply with the organisation\'s health and safety policies and standards. Select, train, and evaluate designated workplace safety or first aid officers to ensure that they understand and can perform the responsibilities of their role. Ensure that first aid supplies and resources are available in accordance with regulations and the organisation\'s health and safety policies. The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time. Professional competencies Bachelor Degree in Science/ Technology. Must be a registered safety and health officer. Min with 2 years of relevant experience. Good experience in managing scheduled waste for legal compliance. Good experience in executing industrial hygiene programs - chemical safety, hearing conservation, ergonomic. Experienced in implementation of EHS program to meet ISO14001 (Environment) and ISO45001 (Safety and health) requirements. Experienced in executing safety programs for legal compliance. Preferably in having experience of managing emergency response preparedness plan and fire safety. Preferably having experience in machinery safety buy off, ergonomic assessment, and contractor safety management. Personal competencies Be determined to achieve. Execute efficiently. Be acccountable.
