Duties and responsibilities

  • The Management Accountant is responsible for assisting the BMI Financial Controller in overseeing the financial position of BMI and ensuring adequate controls and procedures are in place.
  • To execute Inventory management in accordance with the B. Braun Group Policy.
  • To ensure inventory accuracy (People, Process and Technology) and helped in Working Capital improvement.
  • To develop guidelines and procedures for better inventory and warehouse management.
  • To prepare and analyze the Latest Estimates (Quarterly Review).
  • To conduct stock count if deemed to be necessary to ensure both physical and records are reconciled.
  • To create financial awareness and maintain cost control to ensure healthy development of expenditure.
  • To conduct financial study on projects or assignments.
  • To ensure the achievement of the company\'s planned expenses and bottom line. To participate in developing and fine-tuning BMI policy and procedures to ensure proper internal control and compliance with rules and regulations.
  • To coordinate BMI annual budget exercise processes.
  • To serve as a temporary back up for other functions if needed.
  • The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Professional competencies
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of experience with variance analysis, financial planning & forecasting.
  • Experience with Production Costing and Manufacturing Reporting.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to be hands-on in creating templates as well as dashboards for reporting.
  • An advantage to have exposure to SAP, TM1, Hyperion and/or BI tools.
  • Experience in feasibility studies, and profit evaluation of investment/project.
