JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Ensure Best-in-Class quality performance across key OSATs and Substrate suppliers through close management and collaboration
• Manage and drive supplier quality performance to meet/exceed set KPI goals
• Monitor process performance indices on qualified processes and establish proactive control systems to maintain/improve process performance
• Review supplier change management and drive supplier continuous improvement programs
• Investigate customer quality concerns and RMAs and drive 8D corrective/preventive actions related to customer quality issues.
• Drive and execute a wide range of global initiatives with global teams
• Initiate, organize, develop and lead task-force for short term problem solving and long term continuous improvement
• Effectively drive and optimize departmental performance by close collaboration with key stakeholders to build and execute strategies aligned to corporate objectives

REQUIREMENTS:

• MSc/Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics / Physics / Science /Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 - 10 years in a semiconductor environment, with good understanding of fab, assembly and packaging processes
• Demonstrate teamwork and possess strong Project & Vendor management skills
• Candidate will be required to work in the Ipoh site and covers the South East Asia region
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally for up to 10% or more during critical periods
• Candidates with prior years of people managing experience coupled with more than 10 years of relevant quality experience may be considered for a higher level position
