Job description
In your new role you will:
- Study operations sequence, material flow, labor utilization and cost analysis to promote manufacturing efficiency
- Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements and production standards
- Drive process improvements and work within a team to resolve problems
- Update / review / maintain of IE database (iBID, iTFM)
- Draft and design layout of equipment, materials and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computer
- Partner with Operations to develop preferred methods / Standard Operating Procedures for production
- Analyze and provide solutions for cost reduction through process improvements and cost/benefit analysis
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering
- More than 6 years of related semiconductor assembly experience in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience in work study, plant layout, material standard and headcount modeling
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals at various levels of the organization
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple and concurrent priorities
- Good analytical skills, communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in PC applications and AutoCAD
