• Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, with offices located in Selangor and Penang. In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools and Automotive Steering systems. As a PLC Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of processes and equipment in the battery pack manufacturing line. This person will work in the Central of Competence (CoC) team and team of battery pack design and production engineers within Bosch cross-geographic locations. Some of the main duties of this position include the following:

• Develop and implement new equipment/machine/fixture and execute new processes.
• Analyze experimental results.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment/machine/fixture issues.
• Write reports and give presentations to the management team, which include cross plant and function.
• Such other comparable duties as may be required by the direct superior.

Qualifications

• Master and above in science or engineering of Mechanical or Mechatronic, Electrical or Electronic Engineering and physics.
• Minimum 3 years of proven track record and working experience in related working environment.
• Experiences in Battery manufacturing process, good knowledge and hands-on in resistance / laser welding processes, equipment and troubleshooting.
• Experience in statistical software, such as Minitab, JMP, etc...
• Familiar with PLC & Labview software program.
• Good English speaking and writing together with good presentation skill.
• With DOE (design of experiment) and thermal knowhow will be add in advantage.
• Good in accountability, drive for result, analytical thinking, planning and organizing.
