Assistant Staff Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Verification & Validation

Duties and responsibilities

• Manage all aspect of engineering projects and product verification and validation activities and ensure that it is completed on time and within budget.
• Plan and conduct verification and validation projects using existing or new scientific methods, theories and applicable engineering practices and techniques to solve engineering problem.
• Design, communicate and implement execution plans for completing verification and validation activities, monitor progress, performance and take action to resolve problem to ensure all applicable activities stay on track.
• Define and establish test specification, develop test protocol & report, devising test method, analyzing test results and preparing reports in compliance with relevant procedure, regulatory requirements and product requirements.
• Document deviations, perform investigations with report, and implement countermeasure as required.
• Ensure test results and reports are accurate, appropriately documented, and support relevant requirements.
• Estimate resources and time required to complete verification and validation activities and continuously monitor progress to ensure targets are met.
• Coordinate and facilitates transfer of applicable test specification and test methods to cross functional teams as needed to support design transfer activities.
• Assures work activities are conducted in a manner compliant with all applicable regulations and standards.
• Prepare regular reports to communicate status of the project/tasks to the project team.

Professional competencies

• Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree in engineering; preferable in Mechanical or Mechatronics.
• Must have at least 3 years of working experience in manufacturing industry; preferable from Medical Industry.
• Must be familiar with product validation procedure.
• Must be familiar with 3D CAD tools (example: Solidwork software).
• Good to have exposure in ISO13485, product design control according to FDA.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skill in statistical analysis.
• Familiar with root cause analysis.
• Flexible and proactive team player.
