• Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, with offices located in Selangor and Penang. In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools and Automotive Steering systems. In 2017, Malaysia contributed sales of RM 615 million (127 million euro) and employed more than 2,800 associates.

As Senior Product Engineer, you will be responsible for product engineering/technical topic in relation to product design, manufacturing and quality requirements.

You will:

• Involve in product Front End Design(FEP), product development stage and product manufacturing requirement set up with Product Engineering team in Germany and Hungary.
• Involve in new products introduction(NPI). To acquire new product knowhow from eBike or Lead Plant during new product development phase and transfer to plant.
• Responsible product engineering support/analysis with proper tools to ensure good manufacturing productivity until product end of life (EOL).
• Sharing and exchange of the product related information, technical know-how and experience of transfer projects within plant technical teams, to strengthen the product know-how competencies in plant operation team.
• Support part localization projects.
• To create BOM(MRP) and drawing with 3D software, ECR maintenance in MRP(SAP) system
• To support production in achieving the effectiveness, output, FOR and quality target on the aspect of product engineering
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or any equivalent certification.
• Must have good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, self-driven, ability to work independently and literacy in MS Office applications.
• Minimum 3 years of proven track record in working experience in related working environment.
• Experience in and product engineering and new product introduction(NPI).
• Able to operate 3D software like Pro-E, Solid Work or etc.
• Understand mechanical design drawing, MRP(SAP), test specification, statistical knowledge, 8D methodology, quality tools and etc.
• Able to lead a cross functional team and to solve product engineering related problem.
• Able to communicate effectively with diversified team in different locations of the world.
• Project management experience will be an added advantage.
