• Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, with offices located in Selangor and Penang. In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools and Automotive Steering systems. In 2017, Malaysia contributed sales of RM 615 million (127 million euro) and employed more than 2,800 associates.

• Involve in product Front End Design (FEP), product development stage and product manufacturing requirement set up with Product Engineering team in Germany and Hungary.
• Responsible to improve existing design based on technical requirements or input from project team members.
• Responsible product engineering support/analysis with proper tools to ensure good manufacturing productivity until product end of life (EOL).
• Create and maintain technical documentation, drawings with CAD system, part lists (BOM) and update BOM changes to EIS team.
• Responsible product engineering support/analysis with proper tools to ensure good manufacturing productivity until product end of life (EOL).
• To acquire new product engineering knowhow from eBike or Lead Plant during new product development phase and transfer to plant.
• Sharing and exchange of the product related information, technical know-how and experience of transfer projects within plant technical teams, to strengthen the product know-how competencies in plant operation team.
• Support part localization projects.
• To support production in achieving the effectiveness, output, FOR and quality target on the aspect of product engineering.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

• Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent certification.
• Must have good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, self-driven, ability to work independently and literacy in MS Office applications.
• Minimum 3 years of proven track record in working experience in related working environment.
• Experience in product engineering and new product introduction (NPI).
• Able to operate 3D software like Pro-E, Solid Work or etc.
• Knowledge in electrical, electronics, battery construction or design of metal/plastic components will be an added advantage.
• Understand mechanical design drawing, MRP(SAP), test specification, statistical knowledge, 8D methodology, quality tools and etc.
• Able to lead a cross functional team and solve product engineering related problem.
• Able to communicate effectively with diversified team globally.
