Long Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide fast and easy access to different, connected data sources to various stakeholders, including automated extract, transform, load solutions.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and analyse large amounts of data from a variety of sources.
• Designing and implementing data models and databases to support business needs but also drive the business forward with innovative ideas and solutions to data problems.
• Continuously monitoring and maintaining data quality and integrity, troubleshooting and resolving data issues as they arise.
• Creating and maintaining data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data flow between systems.

Requirements:

• Must be willing to support systems after regular work hours.
• Degree in Information Technology.
• Proficient in relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
• Proficient in SQL and ability to modify procedures and SSIS in SQL Server
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 proven track records in IT software development environment with experience in IT BI/ Data Warehouse
• Knowledge in data modelling and database management such as performance tuning of the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and Business Intelligence Reporting environments, and support the integration of those systems with other applications
• Performing ad-hoc reporting to support the business and help in data-driven decision making.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills problem-solving abilities and communication skills
• Must be willing to work independently and be an excellent team player.
• Good Understanding of Data Structure, Transformation and Architecture

Short Description

Focused on the backend database development in SQL Server. The candidate must be able to develop/modify procedures, packages, and functions in the database environment. The candidate is expected to resolve complex data collection and data integration issues ( i.e. ETL - Extract, Transform and Load design and development ) to make data and information available to decision makers, internal and external interfaces and real time decision procedures with operation systems and delivery channels.

Experience and Education

• Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Masters degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.
