Job Details:

Position : Store Assistant/Site Supervisor

Company Industry : Water & Petrochemical

Working Hours : Monday to Saturday (0830 hour to 1800)

Working Location : Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Working Duration: 12 months contract with PERSOLKELLY (renewable basis)

Remuneration : Basic salary RM2,500 - RM3,000 (based on experience & qualification) with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + insurance & medical coverage + overtime claim

Requirements :

• Minimum Diploma
• Open for fresh graduate with internship/graduate trainee experience
• Physically fit
• Good communications skill in English
• Able to start in short notice
• Only open for Malaysian nationality

Responsibilities:

• Assist store keeper to maintain records of incoming and outgoing materials in an excel log
• Receive and forward all types of goods and deliveries to the correct point of storage area.
• Prepare for materials inspection with store keeper which includes collection of materials from storage area
• Monitor and take inventory on regular basis
• Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly
• Assist to verify all goods arrived as per the agreed purchase, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items
• Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
• Ensure the quantity requested and the quantity issued always matches
• Ensure store requisition form is signed by the person collecting the goods and enter into the Inventory/Materials Management System.
• Follow up on documentation of after-hours issues ensuring it is in accordance
• Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors
• Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs
• Assist site engineer to monitor the construction progress when required
• Attend site construction meeting when required
