Assist in receiving, recording, and storing outlet supplies, equipment, tools, consumables, packaging materials, and pallets.
Ensure all stock items are stored in designated locations in accordance with documented work instructions and maintained in good condition.
Update stock cards or inventory records accurately for all incoming and outgoing items.
Prepare accurate stock reports and perform regular physical stock counts.
Initiate purchase requisitions for consumables and outlet supplies when stock reaches minimum or reorder levels.
Participate in annual stock-taking exercises as directed by management.
Assist in unloading, checking, and verifying incoming goods against delivery notes or packing lists.
Issue stocks and materials to authorized personnel and maintain proper issuance records.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the store area, including packaging, ingredient, and chemical storage areas (where applicable).
Submit completed documentation for supervisor review and verification in a timely manner.
Comply with company guidelines on documentation, record retention, and disposal.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO 9001 requirements (where applicable), and relevant quality standards.
Job Success Requirements
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Assistant, or in a similar role within a retail or mart environment.
Basic knowledge of inventory control, warehouse, or storekeeping practices.
Familiarity with retail goods, consumables, and general outlet supplies.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in record-keeping.
Good teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.
