Operations Optimisation (better known as Op Op across MSS Operations) forms part of the wider MSSO Strategy and Change team.

OpOp is a significant programme of work taking place across the entire MSSO footprint and forms part of the MSS Operations (MSSO) Rubix programme.

Our offering and book of work demands a need for a strong Change professional to join the team.

The Opportunity:

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for overseeing your own book of work and deliverables and managing all or some of the associated activities during OpOp venture implementation.

They will also be responsible for providing updates to stakeholders within the project (venture / wave) construct and are required to act independently and with flexibility, mutlitasking but still ensuring strong attention to detail in line with the HSBC Change Framework, and NFR standards.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

The role is located within the existing Operations Optimisation change team and the individual will be required to work closely with all MSSO BAU teams; across Trading Hubs, Operational Hubs and Sites.

They will be required to manage OpOp ventures across MSSO, conduct and deliver OpOp tool training, as well as providing MSSO colleagues with OpOp 1:1 tool coaching.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

\xc2\xa7 Building relationships with all MSSO colleagues.

\xc2\xa7 Building relationships with all Operations sites/teams, Business, Technology, and wider change team members.

\xc2\xa7 Good Operations Management experience &/or skills.

\xc2\xa7 Good Process Improvement experience &/or skills.

\xc2\xa7 Managing the set-up and deployment of OpOp ventures across MSSO.

\xc2\xa7 Managing the execution of OpOp ventures (8-16 weeks).

\xc2\xa7 Ensure the impact of OpOp on MSSO colleagues is positive.

\xc2\xa7 Working on the sustainability of the OpOp programme and values across MSSO.

\xc2\xa7 Aid in the design of suitable solutions or change intervention (working with Automation colleagues to locate technology solutions to process issues).

What additional skills will be good to have?

\xc2\xa7 Managing escalation issues and queries.

\xc2\xa7 Ensure that any dependencies are fed into wider Programmes and Projects (via your manager).

\xc2\xa7 Ensuring that all project documentation is produced to the highest quality, on time and with appropriate signoffs obtained.

\xc2\xa7 Capturing, analysing, and documenting of MSSO business processes (where necessary)

\xc2\xa7 Communicating progress, status and updates to Programme Manager, Change Leads, Functional Heads and MSSO ExCo members (where required).

\xc2\xa7 Devising change interventions such as training.

\xc2\xa7 Devising communication plans (marketing and selling the OpOp offering across MSSO).

\xc2\xa7 Working with / alongside or under authorized external consulting groups on venture deployment, training, execution &/or delivery.
