Primary role of assisting the Head of Supervisory Branch in managing all functions in back-office and support departments to ensure that it is being carried out efficiently and effectively while also assisting the branch and top management to assess and implement a proper control on all relevant backroom related activities
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the branch and to supervise daily functions of back office departments ie. Operations, Credit Control, Administration and IT Departments while also performing role of an approver for these departments various transactions and operational activities
Perform role of cheque signatory
Provide support to all Penang Region branches under N1 and N2 region and work closely with respective branch offices HOBs and HOOs
Provide coaching and guidance to staff of various departments and to build and groom up a strong team to support the business
Ensure full compliance of the Branch against all relevant rules and regulations that govern the industry as well as complying with internal policy and procedures of the Bank
Maintain and enforce a proper supervisory and internal control in all relevant aspect of daily operational functions
Attend to any complaints lodged by clients or disputes of their transaction and resolve the complaint in accordance of the complaint handling procedures
Trouble-shooting tasks of any issues relating to Supervisory and Sub-Branches and take immediate action
Assist superior and Management to perform other functions as and when required
Assist branch management in identifying and providing measures to control branch cost to income ratio.
Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor Degree - Degree holder with relevant years of experience in financial services related industry.
- Passed CCP Paper 1 and Paper 3.
Pleasant personality with excellent verbal, and written communication skills
Able to interact and work with all levels of employees
Good presentation skills and able to present ideas and problem solving skills
