SEIBU is a luxury department store in Japan and operates 6 stores in Japan.

Marking its expansion into Malaysia, SEIBU opened its first Malaysian store at The Exchange TRX in the third quarter of 2023, following successful entries into other Southeast Asian markets.

Occupying over 250,000 square feet across four levels, the store showcases 400-500 retail brands, including100 debut brands making their first appearance in Malaysia. This establishment stands as Malaysia's first international luxury department store, setting a new benchmark for premium retail experiences in the region.

JOB DESCRIPTION



1. QUALITY CONTROL (QC)

Supervise daily quality checks on fresh, chilled, frozen, and dry products to ensure compliance with freshness, hygiene, and food safety standard Maintain quality inspection records and prepare periodic QC reports for management review. Ensure prompt report of non-compliant items to operations team and follow up on supplier returns of replacements.
2. NON-TRADE PURCHASING

Manage and process non-trade purchase orders, including store supplies, equipment and maintenance items Verify purchase request, obtain quotations, and ensure approvals in line with company procurement policy Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective sourcing.
3. STORE COORDINATION & SUPPORT

Coordinate store maintenance activities such as pest control, sanitation, and equipment servicing Monitor and schedule regular pest control visits and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly Act as liaison between operations, tenants, and service providers for any maintenance or quality-related issues
4. SERVICE COORDINATOR (CONTRACT & SCHEDULE)

To liaise with HOD and Admin Store related to government agencies In house service schedule Contract under Admin Department (but act as executor of service)

REQUIREMENT



Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Retail management, or related field At least 3 years of experience in operations or quality control (preferably in retail or supermarket) Good Understanding of store operations, vendor management, and maintenance coordination Strong communication, problem solving, and leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Detail oriented, well organized, and able to work independently

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,499.00 per month
