POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY Manage the restaurant; developing and motivating the team to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction with ultimate responsibility for safeguarding the financial success of an outlet and maintaining the reputation of the company ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS STANDARDS Set and implement the agreed standards of service at all times Supervise the running of the restaurant on a regular basis Carry out frequent outlet checks of the restaurant Remain customer focused at all times and ensure the team place customer satisfaction as their top priority Set and achieve division objectives in conjunction with the business plan Ensure that all equipment in the outlet is used correctly; maintained and cleaned properly and that staff are appropriately trained Ensure the division sop\'s are kept up to date and used as a reference and training document Monitor and achievement of outlet KPI\'s FINANCIAL Adhere to division standards and service level to increase sales and minimize cost; including food; beverage; disposables supply; utility and labor costs INVENTORY Responsible in ensure the outlet inventory are in order and stock sufficient at all time. HUMAN RESOURCES/ ADMINISTRATION Ensure Payroll related administrative are completed on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures CASH MANAGEMENT Ensure correct operation and balancing of cash Point of sale & daily reporting Monitor daily; weekly and monthly business reviews and to make sure that the daily deposits are taken care of. Oversee all daily cash balancing and transaction activities Prepare adequate monetary denominations remain in safe box to provide change for customers FOOD SAFETY & HEALTH AND SAFETY Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparations and service Ensure that all equipment in the outlet is well maintained and kept in good working order; purchasing of new equipment when necessary Ensure the correct use of cleaning materials and equipment Ensure all health & safety and food hygiene regulations are adhered to Take immediate action regarding any infringements of health & safety; fire regulations and food act CUSTOMER SERVICE Increase sales at all opportunities through customer service suggestive selling and cross selling Ensure excellence customer service in all areas and be able to train staff to provide excellent customer service Responds to complaints; taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied customers into return customer QUALITY CONTROL Conduct daily hygiene inspection on overall hygiene aspects of food handling to ensure food is safe and clean for human consumption. -
