The Fruit & Vegetable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the produce section in the supermarket. This includes managing stock levels, ensuring quality and freshness, supervising staff, and maintaining hygiene and display standards to enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise all activities within the fruit and vegetable section.
Ensure all produce is fresh, properly rotated (FIFO), and attractively displayed.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate orders with suppliers or store buyers.
Check incoming deliveries for quality, quantity, and freshness.
Train and guide staff on proper handling, storage, and display of produce items.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in accordance with food safety guidelines.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
Minimize wastage through effective inventory and stock rotation practices.
Assist in planning promotions and setting up special displays.
Maintain daily records such as spoilage, sales, and inventory reports.
Requirements:
Minimum SPM or equivalent education.
At least 1-2 years of experience in a supermarket or fresh produce environment.
Knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and fresh produce handling practices.
Good leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Physically fit and able to lift moderate loads (e.g. boxes of produce).

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,050.00 per month
