[ n Your Job Molex is looking for an experienced Indirect Sourcing Supervisor to join our Global Indirect Sourcing team. As a part of this role, Supervisor will be responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of Indirect Sourcing strategies and execution ensuring alignment with the CCS strategic requirements and goals. To promote cross-functional collaboration and foster a culture of innovation providing value to the business, and a pioneer in setting up a committed Indirect Sourcing team in Malaysia. This role will report to Regional Sourcing Center Manager and supervises Molex Penang Indirect Sourcing Team CONTACTS: Internal Plant stakeholders (Manufacturing, Facilities, EHS, HR, GA, Purchase, QA, Warehouse), Global & Regional Indirect Category and Sourcing teams, Interco Entities External: Suppliers, Subcontractors Our Team Global Indirect Sourcing team -tAll Indirect procurement in Malaysia including New Product Development support. -tExecute Global KPI metrics CONTACTS: Internal Plant stakeholders (Manufacturing, Facilities, EHS, HR, GA, Purchase, QA, Warehouse), Global & Regional Indirect Category and Sourcing teams, Interco Entities External: Suppliers, Subcontractors xa0What You Will Do 1.tLead Indirect Sourcing process working with the internal stakeholders to meet CCS business goals 2.tDrive cost reduction objectives with the responsibility to deliver annual cost savings goal 3.tResponsible for team performance, leading and coaching Indirect Sourcing team effectively, ensuring they are customer focused, process oriented and contribution motivated 4.tReview and Negotiate supplier agreements, encouraging compliance by both supplier and end-users 5.tInitiate ideas and actions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing activities 6.tDrive efforts to achieve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the complete supply chain solution 7.tConduct cost and market analysis to benchmark current and potential suppliers 8.tAnalyze industry trend and evolving technology to proactively identify supply issue in minimizing risk, ensuring Business continuity plan (BCP) and exploring emerging opportunities 9.tDrive and manage suppliers overall performance, conduct periodic performance review with vendors 10.t1Collaborate with Global/Regional Category Management team in cost savings initiatives. Drive Auction activities for saving opportunities 11.tDriving VAVE initiatives, process optimization, and vendor consolidation 12.tComply to purchasing/sourcing procedures, SOP, ISO procedures and other requirements from time to time 13.tSupport company\'s initiatives on CSR, TQM, Six Sigma, Kaizen/ Lean, etc 14.tAssist Indirect Sourcing Center Manager as and when needed on any reports or assignments/ projects given 15.tPromoting PBM (Principle Based Management) culture and Molex branding in the long run Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) u2022tBacheloru2019s Degree or above u2022t10+ years experience in supply chain, with 5+ years experience in Indirect Sourcing u2022tProcurement expertise in categories: Machinery, MRO, Facilities, and Outside Services xa0What Will Put You Ahead u2022tClear and concise verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization u2022tStrong analytical / problem solving skills, and excellent organizational skills u2022tSelf-motivated with and entrepreneurial attitude u2022tStrong Computer skills u2013 such as Coupa, Ariba and Microsoft Office Suite u2022tProcess knowledge and costing awareness, of machinery and spare parts related to molding, stamping, plating, tooling, and assembly.
