Summary

Performs supervisory and administrative duties associated with inspection personnel management. Coordinates the tasks and work plans of the Receiving Inspection area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Led shift QC Coordinators for non-compliance material quarantine activities (including system and physical quarantine) to prevent unintended use
  • Performs supervisory and administrative duties associated with inspection personnel management
  • Coordinates the tasks and work plans of the Quality assurance area
  • Observes and verifies the accuracy and adequacy of the inspection activities and records
  • Responsible for material flow, storage of parts, and accurate inventory transactions within the ERP system
  • Generates and maintains quality metrics and reports, as required, and implements appropriate preventive/corrective actions (as needed) to improve quality
  • Identifies problems and proposes timely, cost-effective solutions that meet quality requirements
  • Assists in the development of visual and dimensional inspection/test procedures and material specifications
  • Support in routine audit readiness activities
  • Works with QA, Manufacturing, Engineering, and other department personnel, as necessary, to support quality and business objectives
  • Assumes and performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with \xe2\x89\xa5 3 years of medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry experience
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) as applied to medical devices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP System
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
  • Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment
