Responsibilities LANDSCAPE SUPERVISOR Essential Duties and Responsibilities : 1. Planning, supervising and coordinating daily landscaping activities 2. Liaising and coordinating with client, consultants, contractor & suppliers 3. Knowledgeable about soil conditions, irrigation needs, nutrient requirements, light intensity, plant pathology and plant insects 4. Supervise landscaper including installation of plant material, care of flowers and bedding plants, trimming and pruning of shrubs and trees, able to calculate and apply pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers 5. Analyze plants to figure out whether they are nutrient deficient, infected with disease or infested with pests and determine the best measures to remedy the problems 6. Monitor procurement of material and the operation and preventive maintenance of small and large equipment, i.e. sweepers, trimmers, blowers and etc 7. Preparation of related reports 8. Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage 9. Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence 10. Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job 11. Respond to complaints and special requests 12. To assist Building Executive to complete report with regards to maintenance and service providers performance 13. To supervise and monitor service providers and contractors on field 14. To assist and work together with Building Executive to complete the defect findings during Defect Liability Period (DLP) 15. To assist and work together with Building Executive to complete the asset listing and tag 16. To undergo Plan Preventive Maintenance (PPM) for building 17. To supervise works undertaken by Service Providers in accordance with the contracts 18. To ensure that facilities are used appropriately 19. To take action against any reports/complaint/request/incident 20. To attend meetings and preparing reports if necessary Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities : 1. To complete ad - hoc task as and when instructed 2. To assist Building Manager/Building Executive to complete other relevant management task 3. Others \' as assign by Building Manager/Building Executive Requirements Qualification or Educational Requirements : 1. Minimum Diploma in any field / Certificate in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture or Agriculture 2. At least 1 or 2 years of working experiences in supervising landscape maintenance / project 3. Applicant must be willing to work in shift 4. Applicants must be willing to work overtime / Sunday / Public Holidays Job Skills and Knowledge Requirements : 1. Ability to work in a team environment with professional and optimistic attitude. 2. Able to work independently with limited supervision. Must be proactive and takes action without being prompted. 3. Basic knowledge of computer skills and work proficiently with Microsoft Office / Excel 4. Committed in completing the task assigned 5. Critical thinking and proactive 6. Good time management and working under pressure 7. Able to meet deadline and good in time management 8. Knowledge and expertise sharing to others 9. Possess high level of integrity and discipline. 10. Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
