Job Summary:

The Sourcing Quality Engineer III is involved in the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance. Assures the quality of Services provided in support of Fieldcore Outage execution. Assists in the selection, development, management, and the assurance of defect-free performance of the business' Supplier base and works with the objective quality improvement and quick resolution of any supplier quality issues.

The role is open to Malaysian citizens.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead supplier audits and partner with suppliers to close out findings and improve processes
• Lead the Technical Qualification process of both new Suppliers and existing suppliers. This will require reading and understanding component drawings or technical specifications of services that need to be performed by suppliers. This also needs verification of supplier capabilities to meet technical specifications related to materials, confirmation to test requirements and final inspection of products or validation of supplier capabilities to offer the required services.
• Review and assess supplier performance against standards using surveillance audits and stakeholder feedback
• Evaluate Supplier CoPQ root cause issues and formulate corrective action paths with Quality/EHS, as required. This may require technical validation of supplier capability as required by drawings and materials specifications
• Manage assessments of NCRs and corrective actions measures by regional teams and/or suppliers
• Measure implementation and effectiveness of supplier corrective actions in a timely manner
• Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA Analysis) to drive process improvements in supplier processes for services and components
• Collate and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain
• Maintain Supplier Quality Records using companywide systems
• Ensure the establishment of EHS and/or Quality Scopes of Work standards for Purchase orders and Master Service Agreements to support the mitigation of risk in supplier engagements
• Support Strategic Sourcing with developing Supplier agreements, contracts, and other templates.
• Coordinate follow up actions with regional teams (Regional Sourcing/Quality/EHS) to improve supplier performance and to standards
• Facilitate Supplier Performance Management reviews in accordance with QMS and other operating procedures
• Lead, support, guide LEAN thinking applications daily (ie. Standard Work; Problem Solving etc.)
• Identify, lead or participate in Kaizen events and/or business improvement projects
• Travel may be required
• May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive the FieldCore vision and align with our organization's core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering or in a related technical field
• 7+ years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
• 2+ years of specialized experience in a similar role
• English proficiency required
