Position Title:

System Engineer (Senior Level)

Location:

Menara Prima Avenue (The Tube), Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (After-hours and midnight standby required)

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, implement, analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain a range of system infrastructure, including Windows Server, virtualization, performance tuning, Active Directory, and backup/restore solutions. Collaborate closely with clients and vendors to resolve issues, monitor project schedules, and assess technical support levels provided by third parties. Provide

technical support

and consultation to the

sales team

during pre-sales or solution discussions. Proactively resolve customer infrastructure issues

within SLA

and maintain a professional support experience. Manage project plans, track timelines, and provide regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders. Prepare and compile all necessary project documentation and reports. Implement and configure

VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft 365, and backup solutions.

Work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Willing to perform

after-hours

and

midnight standby support

when required.

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in

Computer Science / Information Technology

or equivalent. Minimum

2 years of relevant experience

in system engineering or related roles. Strong troubleshooting skills in

Microsoft Windows Server OS, VMware/Hyper-V, backup solutions, and server storage.

Proficient in

WINS, DNS, DHCP, NFS, LDAP

, and

security management.

Hands-on experience in

Microsoft Active Directory

and

Microsoft 365

design and support. Working knowledge of backup solutions such as

VEEAM

and

StorageCraft Disaster Recovery.

Familiarity with

SAN/iSCSI/NAS

solutions. Experience with

Microsoft Azure

or

Dell enterprise solutions

will be an added advantage. Good communication skills (both verbal and written) with strong attention to detail.

Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred

to liaise with certain clients and stakeholders. Strong sense of responsibility, customer focus, and teamwork. Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
