Job Description

Responsibilities:

Liaise with vendors, resellers, engineers, and clients for fault diagnosis and resolution.

Log tickets for incidents and technical inquiries.

Monitor client's hardware health and perform initial troubleshooting through phone or remote access and notify clients via phone or e-mail if any incidents/ faults were detected.

Managing office ICT and demo showcase equipment.

Assist company IT infrastructure and needs.

IT support for our client via phone/remote/onsite.

Solution preparation for our client before deployment.

POC and testing of existing/new solutions.

Technical point of contact during working hours.

Knowledge of Nutanix, VMware, NetApp, Veeam, or other leading age technologies or brands is desirable.

Ability to review system requirement specifications.

Provide timely updates to project/ team leaders and keep management and leadership apprised of any risks and issues related to the area(s) of responsibility and work.

Requirements:

2 - 3 years' experience of working in a technology role managing complex technical solutions.

Must have detailed experience of installing, configuring and maintaining complex solutions.

Knowledge of IT systems (applications, servers, networking, security) or IT practices (ITIL, operations, change control, release management, testing UAT).

Must have experience of general database administration such as SQL.

Experience of working with Microsoft Server OS (2008 and above).

Experience of working with Citrix or other virtualisation technologies.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and technical team members to support deadlines and ability to work independently.

Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize these in a customer-facing environment.

Multi-tasking and organizational skills with a sense of urgency, responsibility, and determination to complete work.

Open to shift work, 24 x 7 rotation, depending on placement.

Must be willing to occasionally travel to customer sites.
