SUMMARY

This role will work within Build and Run Operations \xe2\x80\x93 Identity & Access Management team and will be primarily managing the daily operations of the Main Directory Services and Cloud Identity service. The services within Main Directory Services include Microsoft Active Directory, MS AD LDS, Active Directory Federation Service (FID), Microsoft Identity Management (MIM), Azure AD.

• Responsible for supporting the directory service globally.
• Responsible for ensuring the directory services infrastructure meets the business agreed SLA and on-time to provide quality service support globally.
• Responsible to assess the gaps and propose and implement improvements in the environment
• require on call during weekday /weekend - rotational basis

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• To undertake proactive maintenance and administration of server hardware, software and operations tools in support of the delivery of the IT service.
• To improve system availability with proactive work to avoid outages and performance issues, with particular focus on maintenance services for all infrastructure used by the Operations Centre.
• Supporting business critical applications running within the area of responsibility of Production Services in ITS globally
• Documenting best practices and adhering to formal standards and processes as currently laid down
• Assessing, developing and implementing the infrastructure and server builds
• Gathering, assessing, and communicating critical information on a timely basis, by interacting with a broad set of teams
• Obtaining timely information from a variety of stakeholders
• Maintains and helps further development of appropriate cost models to reflect changes in technology and provide key input to the overall Charging Model
• Assist with execution of Release to Production activities, acting as Internal Quality Gate
• Manages internal projects focused on hardware infrastructure improvement with related activities such as project planning, resource planning and reporting
• Engages with project management to confirm that infrastructure components meet the acceptance criteria and are to the required standard

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Bachelor of Computer Science graduate or IT related discipline.
• MS Certification (MCITP) in above mentioned platforms (Active Directory, AD LDS, MIM, FID, Azure AD).
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification
• Knowledge of script and programming language/skill (VB, .net, C#, Perl, Powershell, etc) would be an added advantage
• The position requires a subject matter expert (SME) with 3-5 years experiences including Level 2 hands on experience performing Directory Server administration in enterprise environments using Microsoft Active Directory, Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS), Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), Active Directory Federation services (ADFS).

• The role requires in depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) whereby having understanding and experience in wide infrastructure including its communicating with other Microsoft technologies (example Sharepoint, Exchange), maintain AD infrastructure and troubleshoot AD including troubleshoot tracing on both server and client. He/She also require have basic experience of the setup/support of Active Directory Federated Service and Azure AD as well as single sign-on access to cloud applications.

• The role also requires to have the understanding of Azure AD authentication methods such as Windows Hello, FIDO2 security keys, Microsoft Authentication app/ Multi Factor Authentication (MFA).

• Skill of PowerShell or C# scripting to develop automation scripts and MCSE, MCSA, cloud architect certificates will be added advantage.

WHAT IS THE PLUS POINT (S)

• 3 years working in multi national - IT industry specialized in Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory knowledge in following areas will also be beneficial:-

• Google Cloud Identity and other cloud identities.
• Active Directory Scripting technologies (2 years programming skills - ASP, Visual Studio (VB.net and C#), Perl, Powershell scripts, etc)\xe2\x80\x8b
