We are seeking for an experienced Senior System Support Specialist to join our team. You will provide proactive and reactive support for production services, supporting all production systems running in IT Services.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Ensure implementation of new services and changes to existing services in the production/ development environments are in line with customer project plans and requests
• Delivery of pre-sales advice and consultation on technical architecture and production standards
• Provide 2nd level of support of systems running in ITS
• Provide Operations Acceptance activities in order to ensure accurate and timely release to production of new and/ or enhanced services
• Maintain forward vision of server and/ or software architecture and provision to ensure timely replacement of servers with due regard to financial and technology implications
• Build and maintain relationships to ensure supply of goods and equipment and support of services and products
• Ensure that the applications and their support is undertaken based on the IT Operational standards and ITS Process are delivered within the requested timescales
• Administration and support of Snowflake platform
• Snowflake Sysadmin/Securityadmin roles
• Proactive monitoring and issue resolution
• Support deployment on new projects (Snowflake/Matillion)
• 24x7 On-call for Emergency incidents (~50% of days in month)

APPLICATION YOU WILL USE

• Snowflake administration experience - mandatory
• Knowledge of Matillion or other ETL/ELT tools - mandatory
• Teradata SQL knowledge a plus

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Overall 8 years of experience in IT field
• 5 years of experience in IT operations department supporting business critical systems in corresponding area
• Experience with OS related programming
• Solid in information acquisition
• Solid in constructive challenge
• Solid in building and managing partnerships
• Solid in flexibility and stress management
• Experience with work in multi-cultural environment
• Very good knowledge of requested technical area
