Job Description


As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

As an Advisory Systems Engineer, you are expected to be an expert member of the problem-solving/avoidance team and be highly skilled in solving extremely complex (often previously unknown), critical customer issues. Performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management. Further, the Advisory Systems Engineer is sought by customers and Oracle employees to provide expert technical advice.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Because of substantial customer interfacing, a demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the absolute highest levels of customer satisfaction. Both a Bachelor*s and Master*s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience 8 years related experience prior to taking this position. In addition, experience with Oracle*s core products, applications, and tools.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HCM Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Human Capital Management processes and technology, with the ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective HCM solutions. The HCM Functional Consultant will collaborate with clients to implement and optimize HCM software, providing expertise in areas such as payroll, benefits administration, talent management, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Analysis:

  • Work closely with clients to gather and understand their business requirements related to HCM processes.
  • Analyze and document current business processes, identifying areas for improvement and automation.
Implementation and Configuration:
  • Configure HCM software solutions based on client requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Collaborate with technical teams during the implementation phase to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
System Optimization:
  • Provide ongoing support and optimization of HCM systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular system reviews to identify and address performance issues.
Training and Documentation:
  • Train end-users on HCM system functionality and best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Client Collaboration:
  • Act as a liaison between the client and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
  • Provide guidance to clients on industry best practices and HCM trends.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct thorough testing of HCM system configurations to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve issues identified during testing.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HCM Functional Consultant or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HCM processes, including payroll, benefits administration, talent management, and workforce planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in relevant HCM software (e.g., Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Experience with multiple HCM modules and integration with other enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in Human Capital Management.
