Job Overview
TE Connectivity\'s Accounting Teams develop, implement and/or maintain one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc. in accordance with GAAP policies and procedures. They also design operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.

What your background should look like:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\xe2\x96\xaa Be responsible General Ledger functions for middle-size legal entity
\xe2\x96\xaa Prepare manual GL journal entries, review system generated journal entries and propose adjustment if necessary
\xe2\x96\xaa Perform month-end closing activities, including closing checklist preparation, posting periods maintenance, and GL closing
\xe2\x96\xaa Generate and review TB, BS and P&L, prepare financial reports including statutory reports, Hyperion reports, etc.
\xe2\x96\xaa Coordinate and perform monthly accounts reconciliation, follow up to resolve variances
\xe2\x96\xaa Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required
\xe2\x96\xaa Prepare SOX documentation on GL related functions in order to ensure the documents represent the company\'s existing situation; and implement an action plan to address the SOX findings in order to ensure compliance with SOX regulations and other Corporate policies
\xe2\x96\xaa Coordinate and support external and internal audits
\xe2\x96\xaa Assist Manager to identify potential areas for improvement, support the implementation of the initiatives in order to drive continuous optimization
\xe2\x96\xaa Mentor, develop and motivate the direct subordinates, monitor and review their performance, and help resolve people/functional issues in order to achieve targeted team performance

REQUIREMENTS

\xe2\x96\xaa College degree or above, majoring in accounting, finance or a related field
\xe2\x96\xaa More than 8 years\' working experience in GL, experience in multi-national company or shared service environment is preferred
\xe2\x96\xaa Good knowledge of US GAAP, PRC accounting standards and related statutory regulations
\xe2\x96\xaa Good communication (written and oral) skills in both English and Mandarin
\xe2\x96\xaa Proficient in ERP system (SAP,QAD, etc), MS Office, SAP and Hyperion system experience is preferred
\xe2\x96\xaa Integrity, accountability, proactive working attitude, customer-oriented, self-motivated, ability to work under pressure
