for Team Leader of Private Wealth Relationship Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Planning and Management

  • To develop, innovate and communicate sales plans and activities in line with Private Wealth business plans.
  • Communicating, executing and monitoring strategies formulated by Private Wealth Segment to ensure optimal results
  • To identify sales opportunities, formulate, manage and execute sales plans and campaigns while ensuring successfulness.
  • To acquire new leads (e.g. through corporate talks, networking with agents, lawyers, developers)
  • To assign sales leads and referrals (if any) to sales team and ensure prompt attendance and follow up is taken.
  • To effectively manage the target setting and cascading processes by:
Reviewing sales target for Private Wealth team jointly with Head of Private Wealth Sales.

Allocating and communicating targets to Private Wealth team.
  • To manage Private Wealth team to deliver optimal performance by:
Performing all institutionalized briefing and sales management routine according to the required frequency.

Motivating, coaching and counselling Private Wealth team.

Mentoring team\'s performance and exploring opportunities to improve performance levels.

Ensuring Private Wealth team is updated on latest product information and sales effectiveness techniques (i.e. engage Private Wealth Segment Support to conduct Sales Clinics)
  • To manage day-to-day Private Wealth team operational and physical activities.
  • To resolve operational and administrative issues and escalate all critical or unresolved issues to Head of Private Wealth Sales.
Customer Relationship
  • To develop and implement strategies to improve Private Wealth customers experience as well as Service Quality
  • To build and maintain long term and profitable relationship with key Private Wealth customers, including major depositors and valued customers.
  • To resolve Private Wealth customer issues and escalate all critical or unresolved issues to Head of Private Wealth Sales.
  • To actively obtain feedback from Private Wealth customers and Private Wealth team on area of improvement (e.g. product, process, pricing, competitor information) and channel feedback to Head of Private Wealth Sales.
Compliance
  • To ensure Private Wealth team adhere strictly to CIMB policies and procedures, including credit control procedures, audit compliance and BNM guidelines
  • Ensuring understanding and drives executions on all sales processes and procedures to adhere to the bank\'s compliance& regulations requirements at all time.
  • Assist and accommodate on the implementation of new process and guidelines by internal/external department or regulator
People Management
  • Engage in joint appointments with Private Wealth team in order to identify development opportunities as well as providing the on-the-job trainings.
  • Keeping abreast with updated product information and market changes. Self driver and constantly self improves.
  • To actively recruit and train Private Wealth team in order to contribute in acquiring business expansion. Plan and implement Private Wealth team members retention and development strategies.
  • To conduct formal performance appraisal and perform career planning for Private Wealth team (e.g. recommendation for promotion, training needs and internal transfer).
  • To manage Private Wealth team to deliver optimal performance by coaching, motivating and exploring opportunities to improve performance level.
  • Working hand in hand with Head of Private Wealth Sales to facilitate the sharing of best practices, monitoring and supporting the development optimization of business and financial performance of the Private Wealth team.
Communication & Networking
  • Works collaboratively with vertical and product owners to align business activities, training, workshop and seminars towards achieving Private Wealth goals.
  • Proactively fostering good working relationships with people of all levels.
  • Coordinate and participate in all CIMB Private Wealth related events.
