The CMMS Lead will be part of the VP TAO organization

The VP TAO will be accountable for maximizing integrated business value across the organization. Technical Asset Operations (TAO) is a key enabler for the accelerated delivery of Shell's Asset Management System and will help us to reach our ultimate potential in Downstream Manufacturing, Integrated Gas and Upstream. TAO provides high quality and cost-competitive technical resources who are not physically present at site yet are an integral part of asset teams delivering value through end-to-end Asset Management work processes.

Purpose and Accountabilities

Heading the team from the front by guiding and motivating the team to come up with the ideas for process improvements & exploring the scope of automation. Contributing himself also to the assigned processes & projects.

Accountability for ensuring that the 8-12 staff in the team deliver every day on agreed deliverables with high quality and, maintain a close and good relationship with their colleagues in the assets.

Responsible to maintain assets that require regular preventative maintenance or inspection ensuring it has the correct maintenance and safety standards/procedures applied against them.

Develops and recommends procedures for best practices with use of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Ensure proper management of data changes between Information Management and Information Technology, CMMS Build team and Contracting and Procurement data team including Bills of Materials management.

Apply Shell's standards to deliver Asset Information requirements to the Asset Operations (for internal candidates).

Technical Expertise in writing maintenance procedures and workflows

Develop performance-based culture across all disciplines working towards specific reportable performance metrics.

Give guidance as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and practitioner of AMS Perform ME (Maintenance Execution).

Act as SAP Blueprint ISM Global MRTA Asset Focal Point.

Accountable for data integrity of SAP PM supporting ME and MEC.

Carry out regular health checks to ensure compliance with data structure, correct and complete details with the required level of history and report findings.

Assist with the maintenance of the Asset Register and equipment hierarchies.

Monitor and assist with managing and reporting on backlog and fore-log in CMMS.

Prepare all ME KPIs and reports for the MTAP Team meetings. Responsible to define, monitor and provide reporting of Asset maintenance KPIs, bad actors and threats to Reliability.

Participate in MTAP team meetings, and GPA development to ensure alignment of goals and support areas.

Process Change Requests.

Prepare projection of Safety Critical Equipment (SCE) equipment monthly.

Support LOD1 checks as per AMS ME Shall statements against data in SAP PM. TAO will not be accountable but rather support this scope.

Support contractor with SAT testing during SAP PM updates/upgrades.

Support the Maintenance Materials Coordinator - BoM

To maintain, manage, gate keeping, assurance, enable user access and training on key asset maintenance systems primarily consisting of SAP PM, FSR, PB7 and various system interfaces.

Manage the SAP-PM related training.

Dimensions

The role covers relationship management with Upstream Operating Unit (OU). Changes in the process standards tend to come with changes in the way data needs to be set up in the major SAP systems. The Team Lead needs to be able to understand and explain to others how changes in process controls and technical standards need to be reflected in the system.

Engage with Senior Stakeholders & Senior Engineers and Engineers in department like Maintenance, Reliability, Discipline, Operations, IM&IT, Operational Readiness and Assurance (ORA), EPC and Spares Management

Overall engage with more than 20 staff includes Shell Employee and Contractors. Managing the costs for a team of up to 12 staff.

Skills and Requirements

Required minimum of 10 yrs operational experience in engineering / technical jobs in at least one of the following areas:

Experience in Plant Maintenance area within a Manufacturing or Upstream environment as an engineering user of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Inspection Management Systems (IMS), and Document Management Systems (DMS.)

Experience in Engineering relevant design, maintenance or analysis: Equipment design, analysis, troubleshooting, decision making, troubleshooting; Reliability Centered Maintenance, Engineering Root Cause Analysis, or Safety, Criticality and Risk Assessment, Ishikawa Diagrams, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Total Quality Management, Hazard Analysis, etc.

Experience in Engineering Projects - design of plant, plant process design, scheduling, construction, or data mastering.

Experience in Technical Data and Documents management including processes and tools.

Strong aptitude for Learner Mindset

University Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electronics & communication, Electrical. Maintenance background would be preferred.

Able to multi-task, prioritize and ensure delivery of priorities as promised, self starter, work without close supervision, and work through others to deliver results.

Confidence to work in virtual environment,

Experience with leading others. Includes initiative to identify and help resolve business and technical issues within the areas of responsibility.

Strong communication skills. Ability to engage and effectively communicate at all levels inside and outside Shell and within different cultural settings.

Being able to deal and behave under tough/challenging situations.

Experience in teaching others new technical and soft skills.

Use and understanding of SAP PM / MM modules.

Detailed grasp of the context of use of technical data and documentation within technical data processes, Shell physical processing assets (hardware) and associated operating

Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and implement new solutions

External lens and connectivity: able to understand how Shell can influence the external world and how Shell is influenced by the external world.

Prior experience (Master Level) with SAP PM (SAP4HANA a bonus).

Prior experience as a business administrator in extracting data and modifying SAP PM (SAP4HANA a bonus).

Must have skill of calculating and understanding the AMS ME KPIs from a SAP PM perspective. Frontline ME (Maintenance Execution) experience would be preferred.

Ability to develop reports. Ability to create reports using Power BI will be an asset.

Demonstrate ability to run data analytics and identify areas for continuous improvement.
