Job Description


Job Summary:

This role is an excellent opportunity in the Group Digital Workplace team. Ideally, someone who has strong Microsoft/Office 365 administration, desktop deployment & support, endpoint security, identity governance & administration, policies and controls to ensure cost-effective digital workplace management solutions for global / regional / country IT implementation/deployment.

General Responsibilities:

  • Build, run and maintain digital workplace solutions.
  • Support manager in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources.
  • Familiar with virtual desktop environment solutions, include AWS Workspaces, Azure Virtual Desktop or Windows 365.
  • Hands-on experience in onboarding & offboarding process with Identity Governance & Administration solutions, include SailPoint, Saviynt or Okta.
  • Perform Microsoft/Office 365 administration including Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Security & Compliance and etc.
  • Perform desktop management support within its framework and implementation road maps, in-line with global standards.
  • Assist evaluations for designing cost-effective digital workplace management solutions for supporting implementation of global / regional / country deployments.
  • Prepare and perform desktop refresh deployments and implementation in accordance with IT standards / strategies / roadmap.
  • Adhere to desktop management best practices, procedures, guidelines and compliance with audits and industry standards.
  • Work and coordinate tasks with global/local desktop management vendors to ensure compliance and support in a controlled manner.
  • Ensure services provided adhere to service level agreement.
  • Build strong working partnerships with other Country IT teams, business stakeholders and users.
  • Communicate user needs, priorities and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical guidance to other Digital Workplace personnel.
  • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure & IT Security team to perform regular review and update hardening standards for various operating systems and platforms.
  • Review and assess platform security compliance to hardening standards.
  • Perform or coordinate the security incident handling, documentation, root cause analysis, troubleshooting and post-Incident reports.
  • Flexible on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 security escalation coverage.
  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies and technological opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computing / Information Technology or equivalent;
  • At least 5-7 years\' experience in similar role.
  • Experience and knowledge of desktop management platforms, tools, frameworks, standards and policies
  • Demonstrate experience in deploying and supporting desktop management environments.
  • Demonstrate ability to use remote administration tools on a global scale.
  • Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities, especially in cross-country/culture interactions.
  • Proven competencies in handling confidential/sensitive information in an appropriate and secure manner
  • Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
  • Proven basic numeracy and excellent quantitative analysis skills.
  • Knowledge in IT environment and solutions such as Windows 11, Active Directory, Azure AD Connect, DNS, Group Policy, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with various technologies in areas of Office 365, Defender ATP, CloudApp Security and etc.
  • Experienced in supporting incident investigation and response.
  • Ability to manage remote environments globally.
  • Sense of ownership and pro-activeness in identify, improve and optimize processes and mitigating gaps.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal and collaborative skills; and the ability to communicate concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to work independently and cooperate with diverse teams in multiple stakeholders.
