Team Leader (APAC)

Role Purpose

The team leader is responsible and accountable for efficient management of World-Check operations, which includes: allocation of work, management of resources, monitoring quality of reports and team results.

Reporting to the Research Manager (APAC), you will be responsible for:

• Managing risk relevant content in the World-Check database
• Identifying coverage gaps through regular audit sessions with the research team
• Ensuring the timely completion of research projects by the research team
• Motivating and developing the team in a measurable way
• Communicating and coordinating the research team\xe2\x80\x99s progress and deadlines
• Developing new strategies to enable research team to better meet research goals
• Working on Ad hoc tasks assigned by the Research Manager
• Provide support to knowledge building and knowledge sharing

Competencies/Skills required

• Fluency in Asian languages is preferred.
• Able to proofread and ask relevant questions to ensure quality
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Take initiative to suggest ideas and implement them
• Problem solving
• Strong research and analytical abilities with attention to detail
• High level of organization and multi-tasking
• Must be proficient with MS Office and working in an online environment
• Experience in due diligence industry will be an added advantage

Educational and Professional Experience

• Undergraduate degree in International Relations, Political Science or other related field. Outstanding candidates from other fields will also be considered.
• 3 years of relevant working experience in a related field is preferred.
