Job Description



  • To have knowledge on reservation techniques in the outlet. Always be polite, friendly, honest and have a genuine desire to please guest
  • Must have knowledge on all job functions of a waiter/waitress. Must have interpersonal skills when handling employees
  • Delegation of subordinates in one owns station
  • Must never leave the workstation
  • Must be able to handle minor guest complaints
  • Must know how to use all equipment in the outlet
  • Must be able to take orders from guests effectively
  • To control all captain order chit at all times
  • To control all Linen Par Stock
  • Ensure side station is always clean and never overload the station
  • Must always deliver quality service to guests. Ensure smooth dining service
  • Must always be alert and sensitive to guest\xe2\x80\x99s needs
  • Must know your station well. Never overload any station, as guest will suffer from slow service
  • Always ensure guest\xe2\x80\x99s comfort
  • Ensure smooth operation in your stations
  • Ensure guests have their meal delivered fast, efficiently and in a friendly manner
  • Must always know what items 86 are NOT available in the kitchen or bar
  • To maintain Departmental Attendance Records on daily basis
  • Ensure all tables are ready for operation
  • Ensure the floor is clean and free from crumbs
  • Ensure side stations have enough stock for operation
  • Food service must always follow standards given and consistency of each item must be maintained
  • Must do other miscellaneous tasks
  • Maintenance of tables chairs lighting and private rooms
  • Stacking of operating equipment for busy periods must be done in a timely manner
  • All administration tasks/assignments/projects for both F&B and Culinary Departments
Work Experience

Knowledge and Experience
  • 2 years in Supervisory level in a 4 or 5 star operation
  • Have strong leadership and communication skills
  • Have strong administrative skills
Skills
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Have the ability to prioritize workload assignments
  • Team work
  • A well-organized & initiative person
  • Able to work independently
  • Firm and fair when making decisions or new implementations
  • Mature and good personality
  • Diversified, innovation, creative planning & strategies
  • Analytical and prompt in action
