Manage the daily operations of the Travel & PA Express team. Manage and monitor the performance/productivity of examiners to ensure they achieve the target set for TAT, Closing Ratio, Outstanding claims. Inspire the team to ensure continuous support for Business Units to achieve their Budget. Work closely with Head to initiate new measure for process improvements and minimize the internal expenses by cross-functioned the Travel and PA Express Adjusters to share the workload among larger pool of resource over seasonal fluctuation. Own accountability to improve Loss Ratio with prudent claims assessment and highlight claims trend and risk improvements to Business Unit & UW Assign new cases to Examiners on an equal basis and ensure balance workload among them. Regular engagement with our key intermediaries through our Business unit discussion to speed up claims settlement. Provide guidance/ leadership/ motivation / training to the team to achieve team Goals and plan for staff improvement. Conduct technical claims and claims procedure to Branches/Intermediaries. Authorize and approve claims /reserve/payments up to the authority limit granted by the management as well as denial of claims. Ensure Examiners conduct their quarterly file review and complete it within the timeline. Ensure claims handling processes are adhered with internal SOPs and BNM guidelines. Inspire the team to carry out all services in a professional manner demonstrating a high degree of quality and accuracy at all times. Identify potential risks (possibility of fraud case) and to ensure the company operates in the most efficient manner possible, reducing transactional costs and risks to the business. Ensure the examiners to carry out their accountabilities and objectives within the framework of AIG\'s procedures, policies and processes.
