T&E Expenses Team Leader



Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate a specific expenses oversight tool that will analyze expense claims and produce a report of exceptions to policy, accuracy or appropriateness that need following up:
  • Set and maintain parameters and thresholds within the tool
  • Recommend changes to parameters and thresholds where opportunities are seen to improve the tool\xe2\x80\x99s performance in finding exceptions
  • Perform tool administration tasks as necessary to ensure optimum performance
  • Process expense exceptions within agreed timescale
  • Take appropriate follow up action according to defined process and using own judgment
  • Recommend process improvements where opportunities are seen
  • Perform APAC legacy Audit process within agreed timescale
  • Provide key stakeholders with T&E expenditure reports and analysis
  • Perform analysis and provide support to corporate and functional T&E spend management initiatives
  • Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested
  • Provide in-depth analysis on spending trends and endeavor to highlight underlying causes
  • Develop and implement new techniques for spend analysis
  • Provide support to employee claimants
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert for T&E Policy, Process and the oversight Tool
  • Answer questions or challenges to policy or process from employees
  • Take accountability for following up on valid policy challenges with the policy owner
  • Lead a team of T&E Analysts providing direction and support in line with K-C policy and practice
  • Provide appropriate training, coaching for development and performance management
  • At the time of writing , this team consists of six full time roles
  • Lead internal projects and process initiatives
Skills and Experience:
  • Team leadership experience
  • Experience in leading multinational or global projects
  • Excellent communication in English (oral and written) with international work experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of T&E reporting or travel related audit skills would be an advantage
  • An Inquisitive and investigative approach with critical thinking and good problem solving skills
  • At least 7 years finance, accounting or business administration experience
Qualifications:
  • Degree in finance, accounting or business administration, or equivalent professional qualification
