Job Description


Role Responsibilities

  • Cloud-FinOps Optimization Lead drive cloud FinOps optimization agenda. The role will report to the Cloud FinOps Lead, CCIB and will have the following KRAs.
  • Delivery of CCIB Cloud FinOps services on daily basis for CCIB within the defined SLA.
  • Ensure committed value is achieved through cloud optimization and innovation within agreed constraints.
  • Identify technically validating and prioritizing Cloud Cost Optimization initiatives.
  • Collate, prioritise, & organise recommendations from FinOps Optimization desk , Dev teams and tool optimization dashboards.
  • Generate a lessons-learned list, to capture optimization rejections and update algorithms to reduce duplicates.
  • Finalise recommendation reports (both Optimization and Reservation) and send report to respective governance forums for review and approval
  • Manage the architecting, planning, designing, building and implementation of resource tags in the cloud environment
  • Actively engage in architecture review, various AWS/Azure optimization tactics, implement best practices and solely responsible for efficient cloud usage
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Hands on deep technical expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms
  • Deep technical expertise and a good understanding of the underlying business processes and systems
  • High commitment to meet business needs as well as Service and Operational Level requirements
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • 2+ years of experience in core Cloud technology and Optimization space
  • 5+ years of management experience
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in the Computer Science
  • Certified Project / Program Management
  • Professional Certification on Cloud, Microservices, Container platform will be an added advantage
  • Certified Scrum Master
