Job Description

Assists with storage and server data backup, data migration, and disaster recovery operations.

Assists with software and operating system upgrades and tracks system licensing.

Provides technical support to users by troubleshooting issues related to network or platform performance.

Documents procedures and troubleshooting steps related to systems/networks, software, and hardware.

To perform project-specific duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.

To perform system monitoring and ensure timely escalation of issues.

Prepares and submits monthly reports related to system performance, incidents, maintenance activities, and project updates.

Who We're Looking For

1. Education & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

1-2 years of experience in technical support, system operations, IT assistance, or field/project support

Experience supporting infrastructure systems, software platforms, or hardware installations is an added advantage

2. Skills & Qualities:

Basic understanding of networks, servers, operating systems, and general IT troubleshooting

Able to assist with system monitoring, data backup, software updates, and device maintenance

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users

Good documentation habits -- able to record issues, procedures, and monthly reports clearly

Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate well with cross-functional teams

Willing to learn new technologies, automation tools, and smart infrastructure systems

Willing to be on standby during non-working hours, weekends, or festive seasons when required

3. Bonus Points:

Experience assisting engineers on technical projects (ITS, smart city, transportation systems, or similar)

Familiarity with system backup processes, licensing tracking, or basic network configurations

Understanding of safety, compliance, or standards related to project sites or technical environments

Exposure to AI, video analytics, or monitoring platforms is a plus

Job Knowledge & Skills:

a) Coordination skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members.

b) Must be able to work in a team and independently with minimum supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
