In this context, the company is looking for a ServiceNow software engineer to enhance the ServiceNow implementation according to its roadmap.Together with the squad, you will have the ability to participate in the development of one of the fastest growing offerings in the history of Swift. You work hand in hand with the other developers of your squad to provide the requested functionalities end-to-end. You will receive the necessary support from your chapter lead based in Kuala Lumpur to ensure your success.Connect today; Let\xe2\x80\x99s define the roadmap of our future together by making an impact!What to expect:Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.Write clean code and apply industry best practicesReview designs, code, unit test and technical documentation created by other engineers.Analyze problems, develop and propose solutionsPrepare and study the technical feasibility and estimates of the proposed systems solutions.Work collaboratively with other team members and improve with each other.Provide timing/scheduling estimates to product owner and propose corrective actions to time lines when necessaryOrganize an efficient handover through high quality documentation and training.What will make you successful?3 - 5 years of software development experience in an (preferably) international setting.Experience in one of the programming languages (Java or Python) and have good understanding of OOPExperience in Relational Database (e.g. Oracle, MySQL) or NoSQL Databases.Working Experience in API benchmarking with tools such as JMeter, PostmanFamiliarity or experience with data ingestion with big data technologies (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana and kafka) will be added advantage.Familiarity or experience with SOA technologies such as micro-services, REST, SOAP is a plus.Familiarity or experience with CICD development & deployment tools such as Ansible, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Git, Docker and Openshift container platform is a plusExposure to various OS platforms such as Window, Linux.Practical working experience in an Agile driven team.Strong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in different time zones.DevOps principal model including support and maintenance on product delivery Ibana, Kafka etc. He/She is able to build strong partnerships with internal customers and other delivery organizations inside Swift.You may like to know the team better by knowing the people in the team.
