Role Summary

LSEG\'s global Technical Implementation Specialist team is responsible for performing product installations as well as troubleshooting assistance for clients across China, Japan and North Asia countries. We support Refinitiv/LSEG desktop and server, transactions and market data products. Technical Implementation Specialists are engineering experts who leverage innovative technologies to ensure global consistency of installation processes and faster product implementation. This team is part of the global group performing technical implementations of internal products all over the world. We work with world\xe2\x80\x99s largest financial institutions taking care of their critical transactions, market and data infrastructure. We have the opportunity to shape the way in which Refinitiv implements software and hardware on customer sites globally.

What you\'ll be doing:


  • Perform product installations using global consistent methodologies

  • Execute tasks outlined in project plans and Statement of Work (SOW) agreements with clients

  • Maintain client retention through timely delivery of contractual obligations for Platform Care Services and Custom Solutions

  • Pre-implementation activities: client profile verification, hardware staging

  • Drive potential product implementation issues to timely and successful resolution by minimizing and/or avoiding any client impact

  • Participate in implementations and migrations of existing financial systems to cloud based solutions and/or virtual environments

  • Maintain awareness of relevant technical and product trends through self-learning/study, training classes, job shadowing and collaboration with experts

  • Maintain site documentation (Visio / site guides)

  • Provide technical consultancy to other Implementation teams and Go-To-Market teams.

  • Occasional overtime work required once a week in the evening and about twice a month on weekends.


You\'ll bring:

  • At least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science

  • 3+ years working experience in a similar role

  • Native or full professional proficiency in Mandarin as role requires communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients via email, calls, and virtual meetings

  • Experienced in Windows Operation system, Networking basics (CCNA or equivalent level), Linux basics (RHCSA or RHCE level), and security standards

  • Independent and able to work with virtual teams to successfully deliver projects

  • Good problem management and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience in a customer facing technical service role

  • Ability to communicate effectively with various internal and external teams

  • Understanding of project management principles


Preferred skills / experience:

  • Experience with computer networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing)

  • Familiar with any of the programming/coding languages (e.g. Bash, Python, .NET, Angular, Powershell)

  • Knowledgeable in IT security standards and best practice, and financial applications

  • Basic awareness of any of the Cloud environments (Google, AWS, Azure)

Successful applicants are expected to start around April/May 2023. We are currently on Hybrid work mode - with initial requirement to be in the office full time during training period and then moving to a 3-days in office set up.
