• Participate in every stage of the software development life cycle
• Spearhead development, design, and execution off applications and modifications to existing software packages and information systems
• Conduct system analysis, design, testing, integration, and documentation as needed
• Offer recommendations, contribute to project planning, provide time and resource estimates, track tasks, report progress, meet deadlines, and prioritize assignments
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to engage with middle management, internal, and external stakeholders
• Mentor and guide the team, facilitating training and contributing to career growth plans
• Fulfil any additional tasks assigned by the Management as required

The Successful Applicant

• Hold a relevant qualification in software engineering
• Ideally, applicants should boast a minimum of 8 years (At least 2 years in team lead position) of Software Application Development showcasing proficiency in:
  
  • JAVA (J2EE/JEE)
  • Spring, Spring Boot frameworks, Hibernate, JSF, Struts
  • SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• RDBMS analysis and design (DB2, Oracle, MS-SQL)
• Possessing the following qualities will provide a competitive advantage:
  
  • Angular
  • Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban or similar)
  • Insurance knowledge
