Open Position: Technical Lead, Ruby of Rails (Game Development Company)
A reputable Game Development Company is currently hiring Technical Lead, Ruby of Rails to join the Web Development Team based in Kuala Lumpur office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Holds a Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with more than 5 years working experience in web application development
- Actively participate in the entire software development lifecycle, focusing on solution design, coding, deployment, debugging and etc
- Writing clean and efficient Ruby code with Rails best practices
- Troubleshooting and debugging applications to ensure low latency and high-availability
- Integrating third-party libraries, APIs, data storage solutions, and user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Implementing test-driven development and automated testing for Rails applications
- Conducting and participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and scope
- Staying updated with the latest Ruby on Rails developments and tools
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, RESTful and etc
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to use CI/CD pipeline to improve software delivery and quality
