Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

• Leads O&M team in executing the O&M works according to the specified maintenance standards and requirement so as to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization.

ESSENTIAL POSSITION FUNCTION

• Supervises and ensure full execution of SAP System (Plant Maintenance Module)
• Provide guidance; advice and direction to all subordinate and to promote high standard of maintenance culture; efficiency; productivity; teamwork;quality services and personnel job enrichment
• Revises of PPM checklist; tasks list & master data and analyses technical reports; identifies trends for the facilities and equipment breakdowns and recommends for continuous improvement
• Review the performance of the facilities/system and provide input and recommendation for any upgrading or refurbishment work
• Establishment of new contract and managing and ensuring the contractors are delivering the service standard as required in the contract for outsourcing work.
• Execute the master maintenance plans and master maintenance schedules as well as implementation of approved capital and operating budget
• Analyses cost implications of the operations; maintenance and repair activities and recommend for budgetary.

Skills

Relevant Industries

Internal

• Diploma holder with minimum 1 year relevant working experience in Supervisory role OR
• Certificate /STPM holder with minimum 5 years relevant working experience in Supervisory role.
• Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least - Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B - Minimum Meet Expectations / C
• The employee must not be subjected to any form of Disciplinary action for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion

External

• Diploma holder with minimum 3.0 CGPA with minimum 1 year relevant experience in supervisory role.

Education

Internal

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic) OR
• Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic) from Polytechnic

External

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic)
