Job Description

A Technical Sales Manager will be responsible to grow the Ornamental, Turf, and Landscape business to customers within the plantation industry in Malaysia.

• Achieve agreed sales and tech-related targets for Turf, Landscape and Ornamental (TLO) business in Malaysia, including channel management and key account management
• Explore and accelerate growth opportunities in TLO across Malaysia.
• Develop strategies for each business segment.
• Provide technical support for marketing & commercial by addressing product complaints and customer queries
• Take the lead role in developing technical strategies for Malaysia
• Develop and execute demand creation activities from the technical perspective - such as field demos and spray programs to align with marketing campaigns
• Manage the development & introduction of new TLO products in Malaysia
• Build strong market relationships with key industry personnel, including influencers, end-users, governmental agencies, and extension officers
• Technical evaluation of products/companies that have the potential as third-party suppliers/partners or acquisition targets

Multinational organisation|Career progression

• Degree and experience in strategy, sales, marketing and/or general management, agriculture.
• Possess technical knowledge of one or more of the following - Turf, Landscape and Ornamental (TLO), Crop Protection.
• At least 5 year\'s work experience dealing with distributors / dealers within the relevant industry.
• Experience in strategy, business development, sales and marketing.
• Good command of English and Mandarin.
